St. Vincent and the Grenadines will host its second Cannabis Festival, Cannabliss 2025, at Victoria Park from 2–5 October 2025.

The festival, organised by the medicinal cannabis sector in collaboration with the Ministries of Agriculture, Health and Tourism, will feature a wide range of activities. Over the four days, there will be two days of conferences and panel discussions covering topics such as inter-regional trade, improving product quality, and lectures from regional and international experts. A special session will also be led by Dominican botanist Dr. Machel A. Emanuel, who will educate traditional cultivators on recognising issues early to improve the quality of their products.

In addition, the programme will include two days of an industrial expo featuring the Traditional Cultivators’ Village, food, art, music, and health booths addressing issues such as blood pressure and diabetes. Attendees can also look forward to tours of two traditional cultivation farms, a catamaran cruise, and a grand reggae concert. Tickets for the concert start at $60.

At the Cannabliss 2025 media launch, which streamed on 26 August 2025, CEO Dr. Jerrol Thompson highlighted the development of the cannabis industry in St. Vincent and the Grenadines over the years, emphasising its benefits across multiple sectors, including banking, regulation, healthcare, agriculture, and tourism. He also noted that this year’s festival has moved from its previous venue at Arnos Vale to the more spacious Victoria Park, reflecting the growth of the sector and allowing for a bigger, more accessible experience for attendees. The festival demonstrates the country’s increasing recognition on the international stage and its commitment to maintaining high standards in the sector, supported by measures to ensure quality and compliance.

Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Tourism, Tamira Browne, added: “It is a pleasure to stand before you today as we officially launch Cannabliss 2025 — a celebration that goes beyond a festival. It is a testament of vision and resilience here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It is a platform that must honour our heritage by celebrating the deep cultural roots of cannabis in our communities and across the Caribbean. It is a platform for education and information through the workshops that Dr. Thompson mentioned, that promotes responsible and mindful use. It spotlights the local innovators showcasing the creativity, entrepreneurship, and pioneering spirit of Vincentians in a fast-developing industry.”

Persons interested in taking part in the events can register online through cannablisssvg.gov.vc. Fees may apply for some activities, with the conference costing $55, farm tours $110, and the grand concert starting from $60, while the industry expo will be free of charge.

The Medicinal Cannabis Authority has encouraged the public to join in the festivities and expressed gratitude to its sponsors for their contributions to making this year’s event possible.
