A football player is dead after hitting his head during a match this evening (September 10) in Belair.
The player has been identified as Mr. Vennol Collis, a resident of Vermont.
He is said to be a player for the local football club Chelsea.
Reports are that Collis and another player attempted to head the ball at the same time. Mr. Collis then chased after the ball and then fell on the ground motionless.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of death is unknown.
A postmortem is expected to be conducted on the body to determine the cause of death.
