A man was shot and killed in the Central Leeward town of Layou, located on the west coast of mainland St Vincent.
According to reports, the man was shot by an unknown assailant on the main road. He then ran and collapsed in a resident’s yard, where he was found lifeless.
The incident occurred early on Saturday, 13 September.
His body has not yet been identified; however, reports indicate that he is not from the area.
Police are on the scene and have cordoned off the area.
