Head Librarian of SVGCC Launches Book on Finding Purpose

Pearl Mc Master, head librarian of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) as well as a Vincentian gospel artiste, author, worship minister, and motivational speaker, officially launched her debut book, De-Clutter: My Journey to Self-Love and a More Purposeful Life, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Frenches House.

According to Mc Master, the launch of her book marks a pivotal moment in her mission to empower others to rediscover their purpose and reconnect with themselves.

In her book, Mc Master takes readers on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth. She explores the mental, emotional, and spiritual clutter that keeps individuals stuck, offering practical insights to help readers reclaim their energy, embrace self-love, and live a life of purpose.

Mc Master indicated that, “The response to the book so far has been a humbling one. This is more than just a story — it’s an invitation for readers to pause, reflect, and give themselves permission to live their best life.”

The official launch featured readings from the author, a live interview session, entertainment, and reflections from individuals whose lives have already been touched by the book’s message.

She stated that she will continue her mission of advocating for mental clarity, emotional healing, and purpose-driven living.
