Porter Charged with Handling Stolen Goods

Police have arrested and charged D’Andre Stewart, a 33-year-old porter of Lodge Village, with the offences of burglary and handling stolen goods on 18 September, 2025.

According to investigations, Stewart allegedly entered a business place as a trespasser and stole a quantity of clothing, electronics, and body products valued at EC$97,472.00. The items are the property of a 34-year-old manager of Arnos Vale.

He was further charged with receiving clothing, electronics, and body products, knowing or believing them to be stolen, and keeping them for his own benefit.

The offences were reportedly committed in Kingstown on 26 September, 2024, and at Long Wall on 29 September, 2024, respectively. Stewart is expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court to answer the charges.
