Mr. King said that skills acquired through the many TVET programme help make individuals more marketable and urged students to seize the opportunities available.
Miss Natalia Gill, a representative of the Mustique Charitable Foundation, said the foundation is committed to supporting initiatives that help unearth the potential of the nation’s youth.
She added that the introduction of TVET programme into secondary schools allows students to gain hands-on experience that can be quickly applied in the workforce, particularly in the culinary arts and hospitality sector. She also challenged the students to take full advantage of the facility and the opportunity.
Chief Education Officer Kay Martin-Jack said the donation is a significant investment in the youth and the future of the country, and she thanked the Mustique Charitable Foundation for its contribution.
