Police report that three people sustained minor burns after a fire engulfed a vehicle and spread to a dwelling in Largo Height on Sunday, 28 September.
According to a police release dated 29 September, the three occupants of the home who suffered minor burns were transported to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where they received treatment and were subsequently discharged.
The Fire
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Fire Brigade (RSVGRP) is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire that occurred in Largo Height on Sunday, 28 September 2025.
At approximately 5:47 p.m., police received reports of the incident. The RSVGRP Fire Brigade was promptly dispatched and, upon arrival, found community members actively assisting with firefighting efforts on motor vehicle HP-437, which was located in the garage of a two-storey building. The vehicle had been on fire, and the flames spread to the ground floor of the house, causing extensive damage. Firefighters were able to fully extinguish the fire, bringing the situation under control.

The vehicle was completely destroyed, and the top floor of the residence sustained minor damage.
The RSVGRP is appealing to the public for any information that may assist the investigation. Members of the public are encouraged to contact Police Control at 457-1211, any police station, or speak to any trusted police officer.
The brigade also acknowledges the vigilance of the community members and urges the public to exercise caution when dealing with fires.
Investigations are ongoing, police confirmed.
