The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said it is investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred in Middle Road, Ottley Hall, on September 28, 2025, at approximately 11:50 p.m., which claimed the life of Enrique Codougan, a 25-year-old Labourer ofRichmond Hill.
In a September 29 press release, the RSVGPF said Police responded promptly to reports of the incident. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered Mr. Codougan with multiple gunshot wounds about his body. The District Medical Officer (DMO) was summoned and subsequently pronounced the victim dead. The Magistrate later granted permission for the body to be removed.
The Crime Scene Unit (CSU) processed the scene. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the exact cause of death.
The RSVGPF said it appeals to anyone with information that could assist in this investigation to come forward. Your cooperation is vital in ensuring justice in this matter and maintaining the safety and security of our nation.

The RSVGPF said it extends its condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Codougan during this difficult time.
One News SVG understands that the deceased was arrested and charged earlier this year in connection with theft and robberies.
For instance, on June 14, 2025, police arrested and charged Enrique Coudougan, a 25-year-old labourer of Richmond Hill, with the offence of Theft.
Investigations revealed that on June 14, 2025, the accused stole one (1) white TCL cellular phone valued at $300.00 ECC and one (1) flow sim card valued at $25.00 ECC, total value $325.00 ECC – the property of 48-year-old Labourer of Mc Kies Hill.
The offence was committed in Kingstown. Codougan appeared before the Serious Offences Court on June 16, 2025, and pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was granted bail in the sum of $2,000.00 ECC with one surety.
