Counsel Adrian Odle, President of the Reparations Commission and National Coordinator of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines International Antifascist Chapter, will speak at the International Conference on COLONIALISM, NEO-COLONIALISM
and the Territorial Dispossessions of Western Imperialism in Venezuela.

The Chairman will speak on issues concerning resistance and proposals in the face of the U.S. warmongering in the Caribbean.

This conference stems from the U.S. intervention in Venezuela. This intervention is seen by many as a form of neo-colonialism and imperialism aimed at undermining its sovereignty, controlling its resources, and imposing regime change against President Maduro.

The Chairman’s voice has been elevated to an international level concerning these issues since returning from the United Nations.

The  crucial space brings together 137 delegates from 57 countries across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa to denounce and debate colonialism and U.S. expansionism in the region.

The meeting, held on Thursday, October 2 and Friday, October 3, in the Central Courtyard of the Casa Amarilla Antonio José de Sucre, seeks to reaffirm the Caribbean’s roots as a unified identity and as a historical axis of resistance.

The closing will feature a keynote lecture by the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, and the reading of the Caracas Declaration.
