A historic Christian event aiming to inspire men to rise to the occasion and embrace true biblical manhood will take place in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) on 5 October.

The event, titled Man Up, is being hosted by the Association of Evangelical Churches (AEC SVG) at 5 p.m. at Kingstown Baptist Church.

Inspired by Ezekiel 22:30, which states that God is looking for a man to stand in the gap, the Man Up movement challenges men across St. Vincent and the Grenadines to embrace true biblical manhood, said Pastor Al Blake, President of the AEC.

Pastor Blake said: “This event calls men to take responsibility, boldly intercede in prayer, live faithfully according to God’s standards, and commit to rebuilding the broken parts of their communities and families caused by sin. It is more than a gathering; it is a movement aiming to strengthen men spiritually and relationally throughout the churches in the nation.”

He also emphasised that the vision of Man Up is both straightforward and powerful. It seeks to unite men from all churches in SVG to build meaningful connections and strong, faith-filled relationships as Kingdom men committed to God’s purposes in their homes, churches, and society.

Men from all congregations are encouraged to join this historic event, take their stand, respond to God’s call, and be part of the transformative Man Up movement.

So far, 300 men from across the country have registered to participate in this landmark leadership event.
