Man in Intensive Care After Being Shot Near Bar

A man identified as Omari is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Milton Cato Memorial Hospital following a shooting near a night club last night.

Omari is reported to be nursing two bullet wounds to his chest and abdomen.

The incident occurred on Friday night, October 10, near a popular bar and night club in the Calder area. He was immediately rushed to hospital and remains a patient.

He was shot during an assault by an unknown assailant.

Police from the Rapid Response Unit responded to the scene, and investigations are ongoing.
