Vermont Man Charged with Setting Equipment on Fire

Police have arrested and charged Nyron Small, a 37-year-old labourer from Vermont, with the offence of destruction of property on October 19, 2025.

According to an 20 October press release, police stated that the accused, without lawful excuse, destroyed one Milwaukee impact driver valued at $900.00 ECC and two bath towels valued at $50.00 ECC, totalling $950.00 ECC, by setting them on fire. The items belonged to a 33-year-old mechanic from Rose Hall.

The offence was committed on 3 October 2025 in Pembroke. Small is expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate Court to answer the charge.
