18-year-old charged with murder

Police have arrested and charged Romano Warren, an 18-year-old labourer of Ottley Hall, with the offence of murder on November 20th, 2025.

According to police, the accused, with malice aforethought, caused the death of Gary Bute, an 18-year-old labourer of Riley Village, by stabbing him in the chest with a sharpened steel rod.

The offence was committed in Kingstown on November 11, 2025.

Police say Warren is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charge.
