The Embassies of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Tuvalu have signed a Letter of Intent for International Smart Healthcare Cooperation with IntelliGen Technology, led by Chairman Mr. Sunny Sun.
The agreement underscores the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and 3D medical imaging technologies in global healthcare development. Both parties expressed a shared commitment to advancing medical innovation and fostering closer integration between technology and clinical practice.
Speaking on behalf of the Embassies, H.E. Ambassador Bowman highlighted Taiwan’s pivotal role in supporting global medical innovation. “I have been given the awesome responsibility of contextualising the role being played by Taiwan, our trusted host country, in advancing global medical innovation,” Bowman said.
She noted that institutions such as MacKay Memorial Hospital, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, and Chi Mei Medical Centre have long maintained strong and meaningful medical partnerships with Caribbean and Pacific nations.

Ambassador Bowman added that the signing reflects not only the technological achievements of IntelliGen’s Anatomy Cloud platform, but also the leadership of Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare in shaping the future of smart healthcare.
The signing of the Letter of Intent for International Smart Healthcare Cooperation builds on a decades-long relationship between SVG and Taiwan in the health sector. Over the years, Taiwan has dispatched medical missions to SVG, including a 2025 initiative where specialists from MacKay Memorial Hospital provided cardiology, neurology, ENT, and emergency medicine services at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital and other clinics.
SVG has also consistently supported Taiwan’s inclusion in global health mechanisms, by urging the World Health Assembly to recognize Taiwan’s contributions to international healthcare.
Together, these initiatives highlight a trusted partnership where Taiwan’s advanced medical expertise and technology are directly strengthening SVG’s healthcare resilience.
