Press Release. Updated 10:19 a.m., Friday, December 5, 2025, Atlantic Standard Time (GMT-4).

A determined group of Vincentian motorsport enthusiasts proudly represented St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the 2025 Caribbean Motor Racing Festival, delivering standout performances across two major competitions in Barbados.

The team first took on the Time Attack event at the iconic Bushy Park International Circuit, where six Vincentian drivers competed against some of the region’s most skilled racers. In a commanding display of speed and precision, Chad Francis emerged victorious, clocking an impressive winning time of 1 minute 13 seconds to secure the overall title.

Vincentian participation continued at the 1/4-mile drag racing meet, held along the ABC Highway. Seven drivers represented the nation in the highly competitive brackets, with Elton Bailey delivering a stellar run to claim victory in the 10-second bracket.

Despite having no dedicated motorsport facilities in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, local drivers continue to defy the odds—shining consistently on regional circuits and proving that passion, discipline, and raw talent can overcome even the toughest limitations.

These performances underscore the rising strength and determination within the Vincentian motorsport community, as local drivers continue to excel on regional stages and proudly fly the flag of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
