Nine Nights of Lights at the Botanical Garden continues tonight, Sunday, December 21, with a major gospel showcase.
This evening’s event dubbed Night of Praise commences at 7:00 p.m.
The night will feature performances from local gospel artistes including crowd mover, Ronnie Richardson, Sherrika Shallow, Ken-I Cruickshank, Zaronique Forbes, Janelle Alexander, and Zonte McBurnett.
Patrons can also enjoy the Christmas lights, enjoy the wide array of foods, and indulge in games.
Some of the food options sold by the food and vendors include tacos, roasted pork and chicken with festivals, hotdogs, Madungo bakes with fried fish or chicken, ham and bread (subject to availability), soups, popcorn, slushies, cotton candy, and more.
There are also two bars available and many toy vendors where toys can be purchased on the spot for children.
There is also bouncing castle, face painting, trampoline, basketball, and other games and attractions.
General admission to the event is $5 for children and $10 for adults.
The Nine Nights of Lights, spearheaded by the National Parks, Rivers, and Beaches Authority is in its 10th year, and it continues to feature heavily on the national Christmas agenda.
