Police say no foul play is suspected at this stage in relation to a body discovered the South Central Windward community of Greiggs.
In a December 23 press release, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said they are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the adult male found in Greiggs, on December 22, 2025, at approximately 5:30 P.M.
Police say they were alerted to the discovery of a deceased male by residents in Greiggs. Upon further investigation, the deceased was later identified as Donavern Baptiste. The District Medical Officer (DMO) attended the scene and pronounced Baptiste dead.
“No foul play is suspected at this stage. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death,” the RSVGPF said.
Pooice said the investigation is ongoing, and they are urging anyone with relevant information to contact Police Emergency: 999/911, Police Control: (784) 457-1211, Biabou Police Station: (784) 458-0239, or the Criminal Investigations Department / Major Crimes Unit: (784) 456-1810.
The RSVGPF said it extends condolences to the families and friends of the deceased.
