Vincentian entrepreneurs explored opportunities for collaboration and business development during the launch of the World Chamber of Entrepreneurs for Economic Development (WenCHAM) on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Mayreau Conference Room at Grenadine House.
The inaugural meeting brought together 21 registered and prospective members for an introductory networking and “Startup Studio” session.
The meeting allowed participants to connect with one another, engage in networking, and receive information on WenCHAM’s approach to entrepreneurship in relation to economic growth, collaboration, and global engagement.

WenCHAM is a global entrepreneurship platform launched in 2025 under the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF), a G20-affiliated organisation focused on access to smart finance, inclusive economic growth, and entrepreneurial diplomacy.
Founding Partner of WenCHAM SVG, Kimya Glasgow, addressed participants during the session.
Remarks were also delivered virtually by WenCHAM Director General Kevin Hin.
The practical component of the meeting was facilitated by Dr Niyan Fraser, PhD, who led participants through a session using the Lean Canvas methodology to structure and refine business ideas into pitches. He was supported by start-up mentor Allan Daisley. Mentor and pitch judge Norlann Gabriel joined the session via Zoom.
Participants are expected to continue developing their business concepts and pitches over the coming weeks, leading to a formal pitch session.

Ms Glasgow said WenCHAM SVG is open to new members, including entrepreneurs and stakeholders interested in participating in the organisation.
The meeting marked the first official activity of WenCHAM SVG.
WenCHAM operates through national chapters currently active in 16 countries, including the United States, France, Brazil, Singapore, South Africa, Senegal, Türkiye, Morocco, Uganda, Zambia, Namibia, Bahrain, Bolivia, Cameroon, and São Tomé and Príncipe.
The organisation works with chambers of commerce, business associations, universities, non-profit organisations, and public-sector stakeholders.
