Two men who are cousins, were killed after the shooting in Georgie Gutter in Belair last night (January 16).
In a January 17 press release, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said:
“Preliminary reports indicate that police received information of multiple gunshots being heard at a bar in the area. Responding officers later discovered that Anil Greaves, a 22-year-old vendor of Belair, had sustained gunshot injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical practitioner.”
“Two other persons, Quinn Greaves, 23, and Shamar Bulze, 24, both of Belair, were also injured during the incident and were transported to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital for medical treatment. Quinn Greaves later succumbed to his injuries, while Shamar Bulze is listed in stable condition,” the police report said.
Police said post-mortem examinations are expected to be conducted at a later date. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
The men were hanging out at a shop when gunmen reportedly approached, on foot, and opened fire.
The incident raises the homicide count for 2026 to three.
One of the men, Quinn, is the son of veteran radio broadcaster, Donnie ‘Prince’ Collins.
In a Facebook post on Saturday (January 17), Collins said:
“A man shouldn’t have to bury his son, I should grow old with my sons to carry my casket. RIP is something I never dreamt of saying about my son. I don’t know how I feel yet but I will cherish your memories. Goodbye Quinn “Huncho” Greaves.”

Other family members for both men have also publicly expressed condolences.
Police are conducting their investigations into the matter.
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force said it extends condolences to the families and loved ones affected by this tragic incident.
“Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is urged to contact the Criminal Investigations Department / Major Crimes Unit at 456-1810, the Calliaqua Police Station at 458-4200, or Police Control at 457-1211,” police said.
