A secondary school student was raped on January 29 on the leeward side of the island.
Reports are that the student was transported to a location, assaulted, and then dropped off at another location where she was discovered.
Due to the sensitive nature of the incident and ethical considerations surrounding the reporting of sexual assault cases, especially those involving minors, the exact name of the secondary school the child attends and the child’s address will not be disclosed.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
