Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs, Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble, received a courtesy call from the Director of IsraAID Dominica and the Eastern Caribbean, Mrs. Velma Moses-Joseph, on February 2nd, 2026, at the Ministry’s Office.
IsraAID Dominica is a country branch of the international non-governmental organisation, IsraAID, which provides sustainable, community-led emergency and development assistance in disaster-affected areas.

In the past, IsraAID has supported Saint Vincent and the Grenadines during emergencies, providing essential items such as food, hygiene kits, flashlights, and first-aid supplies following the La Soufrière volcanic eruptions. The organisation also delivered psychosocial support to affected communities and contributed to early childhood disaster education initiatives, equipping schools and teachers with activity materials and training to improve disaster preparedness.
The Ministry welcomed Mrs. Joseph and expressed its appreciation for the valuable work carried out by IsraAID in Dominica and across the region.
