Police have reported that no foul play is suspected in the death of 39-year-old domestic worker Sasha-Ann Caine.
According to a February 3rd press release, police say that Sasha-Ann Caine was found unresponsive by a friend at about 4:00 a.m. Police were alerted and responded to the scene, where the District Medical Officer (DMO) attended and pronounced her dead.
Police say a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with relevant information to contact Police Control on (784) 457-1211 or Mesopotamia Police Station on (784) 458-5229.
The Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force said it extends condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
