Police Seize 22.9 Pounds of Cocaine in West Kingstown

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) conducted a joint operation in West Kingstown on Monday, February 16th, 2026, involving the Narcotics Unit, the Rapid Response Unit, and the Special Services Unit. The operation resulted in the recovery of 22.9 pounds of cocaine.

The seizure led to the arrest of two 36-year-old men: Sebastian “Bush” Audain of Lowmans Bay and Alvin Cyrus of Largo Height. Both men were charged with possession and trafficking of a controlled drug.

The matter has since progressed in the courts. Sebastian “Bush” Audain appeared before the Family Court on February 18th, 2026, where he pleaded guilty to the offence. He was remanded into custody, and the case was transferred to the Layou Magistrate Court on February 19th, 2026, for sentencing.


Alvin Cyrus pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of $30,000 ECC with one surety. His case was transferred to the Serious Offences Court, scheduled for March 2nd, 2026.

The RSVGPF said it will continue to monitor and address organized drug activity with persistence. The Force also expressed appreciation to those who provide information, which allows specialized units to operate effectively, and reaffirmed its commitment to keeping the streets and borders secure.
