The Blue Marlins Swim Club extended their winning streak to five in a row at the Shrewsbury Aquatic Centre (SAC) Invitational Championships in Ratho Mill, held from 26 February to 1 March 2026.

The club’s success was driven by six individual age-group champions. Jayce Thomas secured the boys 8 and under title, while Xid Toney claimed top honours in the boys 9–10 division. Skylar Byron emerged victorious in the girls 11–12 category, with Saj Caesar taking the boys 11–12 crown. Belle Adams won the girls 13–14 title, and Hazen Da Briel topped the boys 15–17 division.

Across the championships, Blue Marlins amassed a total of 183 medals, including 72 gold, 67 silver, and 44 bronze, demonstrating both individual excellence and team depth.

Head Coach Tamarah St. Hilaire praised her athletes for their consistent progress, noting that meet after meet, the swimmers continue to deliver strong performances.

She also thanked parents for their support and congratulated the other clubs on their efforts. The team was prepared under the guidance of Coaches Tamarah St. Hilaire, Alyssa Davis, Rickydene Alexander, and Henrietha Davis.

With the SAC Invitational title secured, Blue Marlins now turn their attention to regional competition, preparing to compete in St. Lucia next month.

The weekend’s meet brought together St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ main swim clubs: Blue Marlins Swim Club, Black Sands Swim Squad, and H20 Lions Academy.
