60-Year-Old Hospitalized After Stubbs Accident, Police Investigating

Police are investigating a motor vehicle accident that occurred on March 14, 2026, in Stubbs, which has left a 60-year-old hospitalized.

Police say that preliminary investigations revealed that motor vehicle PS-188, a blue Toyota RAV4, was travelling from Calder in the direction of Bottom Stubbs when it was involved in an accident with a 60-year-old resident of Stubbs.

The pedestrian was taken to Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where he* remains a patient receiving medical attention.

The vehicle sustained slight damage.

Investigations into the matter are continuing.

In a separate incident, police are investigating a motor vehicle accident that occurred on March 15, 2026, along the Calliaqua Public Road.

Police say that preliminary investigations revealed that motor vehicle PA-750, a red Mazda PX5, was travelling in the direction of Villa when, in the vicinity of K-Electric, it left the roadway and fell into a drain.

There were four passengers in the vehicle. Two passengers were taken to Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where they were treated and discharged.

The vehicle sustained extensive damage.

Investigations into the matter are continuing.

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is urging all motorists to exercise caution and to drive with due care and attention.
