Minister of Foreign Affairs Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble is currently representing Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at the 14th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization in YaoundƩ, Cameroon, where he is serving as co-facilitator for discussions on investment.
The 14th Ministerial Conference (MC14) of the World Trade Organization (WTO), held from March 26 to 29, brings together representatives from 166 member countries to address key global trade issues. In his role as Co-Facilitator for discussions on the Investment Facilitation for Development Agreement (IFDA), Bramble is tasked with guiding dialogue among member states on strategies to improve the global investment climate, particularly for developing countries and small island developing states.

Minister Bramble is accompanied by Director of Trade Mrs. Okolo John-Patrick and Trade Officer I Mrs. Nicolette Dalton, who form part of the national delegation participating in the high-level discussions.
This yearās conference will focus on several critical areas, including investment, e-commerce, agriculture, fisheries, and WTO reform.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs stated that Brambleās role underscores Saint Vincent and the Grenadinesā continued commitment to active engagement in the multilateral trading system and to advancing policies that support sustainable economic growth, resilience, and development. It noted that participation in MC14 provides an important platform for the country to advocate for fair and inclusive trade practices, strengthen partnerships, and ensure that the unique interests of small island developing states are effectively represented on the global stage.
The Ministry further noted that it will continue to provide updates on the outcomes of the conference.
