Vincy Pros won the SVG Tennis Association (SVGTA) Team Tennis Championship after a thrilling 3–2 victory over Coballt in the final, held over the weekend of March 21–22, 2026, at the National Tennis Centre in Villa.
The championship was decided over five matches, three singles and two doubles, with each match using a 10-point super tiebreaker. Vincy Pros took control in singles, with Afi Lucas defeating Ethan Kent 10–7, Afe Lucas overcoming Loukhya Premraj 10–7, and Afi Lucas defeating Taj Ballantyne 10–3. Coballt fought back in doubles, winning 11–9 and 10–4, but it was not enough to overturn Vincy Pros’ singles advantage, giving Vincy Pros a narrow overall victory.

Six teams competed in a round-robin format over the weekend before advancing to the final, with each tie consisting of three singles and two doubles matches.
Reflecting on the event, SVGTA President and Tournament Director Dr. Preye Griffith praised the high level of play and competitive spirit throughout the weekend. “The level of tennis was exceptional,” he said. “Beyond the technical skill, the atmosphere was electric. This inaugural championship was a resounding success and serves as a launchpad for the rest of the year.”
He also praised the leadership shown by team captains during matches, stating, “That level of leadership and teamwork in my team is exactly what will continue to drive our sport forward.”
Special appreciation was offered to the players, coaches, parents, and supporters who made the event a success.
