Police have confirmed reports of several burglaries in the West St. George constituency, including one at Hope for Life Restoration Ministry Church between 29 and 30 March.

Intruders forced open a wooden door on the southern side of the church building and stole cash, anniversary dinner tickets, screwdrivers, a tablecloth, and other items.

The church, located near Chill Spot in Arnos Vale, was targeted during Holy Week as March 30 was Palm Sunday.

One News SVG spoke to the church’s pastor, Mr Paul Duncan, who confirmed the incident and urged residents to remain vigilant amid these disturbances in the community.

This burglary is not isolated. Other break-ins have been reported in the constituency, including the removal of electrical meters before burglaries in the Fountain area of West St. George in late March.

No arrests have been made to date.
