A body bearing apparent gunshot wounds has been discovered on a riverbank behind a school in the Buccament area.
The deceased is an unidentified male. Residents reported hearing several gunshots in the vicinity the previous evening (April 11), sometime after 5:00.
The incident has heightened concerns among Buccament’s peaceful community.
It comes shortly after two men were shot dead in Kingstown on Friday, 10 April, one of whom was on a murder charge.
Police are investigating.
