Kingstown, St. Vincent (ONE NEWS SVG) – Vincentian Cultural Ambassador Winston Soso has suffered from a kidney failure and is in need of financial assistance to aid with the cost of dialysis treatment.

A gofundme page is set up by Music Producer Adrian Bailey to raise funds to assist Soso.

Bailey says “Our beloved Rolls Royce of Calypso has recently suffered from kidney failure and has to do dialysis 3 times weekly. He also suffered minor stroke. Consequently he is unable to work and support himself.”

Over the past four decades, Soso brought us many hits, some are “Pan yard”, “I don’t mind” and “how some men love their woman”.

The Vincentian Artiste and Composer recieved a Life Time Achievement Award in 2016 from Vincy Care Inc. for his significant contributions to music.

Bailey says “Winston has been giving us so much great music over the last 4 decades, it is only right that we in turn give back to him our financial support in his time of need”

The funds raised will assist Soso in meeting his day to day living expenses and general health needs.

The targeted amount is EC $50,000.00
