Langley Park, St. Vincent (ONE NEWS SVG) – There is outcry in the North Windward community of Langley Park following the death of one of its residents, Juan Balcombe, 29.
The shooting incident took place on Saturday morning (August 1, 2020).
The circumstances surrounding Balcombe’s shooting are still unclear.
But, some residents are claiming that the police is withholding information about Balcombe’s shooting, One News SVG was informed.
Initially, no one was allowed by the police to see the body of the deceased, even as they waited near the scene for hours, Langley Park residents say.

“It is only after the chanting of the people that the police allowed his brothers and his father to see the body”, residents say.
Standard police procedures do not allow actions that can lead to the interference of investigations at crime scenes.
Balcombe’s body was found on a piece of farm land in close proximity to where he lived. But mystery surrounds the time the body was found.
Some residents say they heard gunshots sometime after 3:00 a.m., on Saturday.
