Kingstown, St. Vincent (ONE NEWS SVG) – The cost of dialysis treatment in St. Vincent and the Grenadines has been reduced by 40-percent.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves made this announcement while speaking on NBC Radio Face to Face Program this morning.
He said effective today, Wednesday August 12, 2020, patients accessing dialysis treatment will now pay $150 per session.
This is a $100 decrease from the $250 that patients previously paid.
Dialysis treatment is accessed at the Modern Medical and Diagnostic Center in Georgetown, the country’s lone dialysis treatment facility.
