Kingstown, St. Vincent (ONE NEWS SVG) – One News SVG has received two voice notes from two teachers which allege that an individual falsley acting as an employee of the Buildings Roads and General Services Authority (BRAGSA), has been robbing teachers at schools.

BRAGSA usually performs several types of repairs and installations at schools.

Though the recordings were received from teachers, the authenticity of the recordings still remains in question.

In the recordings, two individuals with female voices give two separate accounts of where a male called an unnamed school, pretending to be a BRAGSA employee. He then showed up at the school to do work and then stole money from teachers.

In the recording, one of the individuals said $500 was stolen from one teacher, $200 from another and $60 from another at one school

One of the individuals in the recording said that this is the sixth time and the sixth school at which the alleged incident with the impersonator has occurred.

One of the sources who contacted One News SVG said one of the schools is the Sion Hill Government School.

Efforts to reach a BRAGSA representative for comment were futile.

The story is developing and persons are being urged to wait for official word from the authorities on the matter.
