A lady based in Barbados prophesied on October 21, 2020, that the La Soufriere volcano will erupt.
The lady, from Saving the Lost Ministries said she travelled to St. Vincent before to warn the people.
In a Facebook live on October 21, she said God is tired of the necromancy and the evil in St. Vincent and that the church must pray and fast.
She said the ground under St. Vincent will shake and there will be a mighty eruption of La Soufriere, such that planes would not be able to fly.
She said the eruption will affect the Caribbean.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines, since November 2020, has been experiencing increased seismic activity at La Soufriere.
But, on December 27, 2020, the increased seismicity came to a boiling point with an Effusive eruption at La Soufriere.
Authorities, including Dr. Richard Robertson of the Seismic Research Center at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine say that it is possible for an effusive eruption to escalate into an explosive one.
But, he noted that more data will be needed to make any such predictions.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines has Christianity as its main religion and some Christian people believe in prophecies.
Others, however, rely on science to make their judgments, while others believe in both.
Official word on any activity related to the volcano should be taken from authoritative sources such as the National Emergency Management Organization NEMO, or the Seismic Research Center at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine which monitors the volcano.
