The Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) will continue payments tomorrow to persons who participated in the Road Cleaning Programme in September.
Payments will be done on Monday and Tuesday for road workers from Kingstown and the Leeward side of the island. Road workers from the Windward side of the island were paid last Thursday and Friday.
The 7-day Road Cleaning Programme which started on September 14, 2021 saw the employment of some 5,700 persons.
These included 450 Gangs and 950 Jobbers, who were responsible for the cutting of trees and the cleaning of roads in all 15 constituencies.
Contracts were also given to over 100 Truckers and Conductors.
The Programme was done at a cost of 2.5 million EC dollars.
The public is asked to note that payments will be made in the following constituencies on the following dates:
Central Leeward – Layou Community Center
Monday October 18, 2021 – Gangs 1-20
Tuesday October 19, 2021 – Gangs 21-40
South Leeward – Questelles Police Station
Monday October 18, 2021 – Gangs 1-21
Tuesday October 19, 2021 – Gangs 22-41
North Leeward – BRAGSA’S Troumaca Office
Monday October 18, 2021 – Gangs 1-22 BRAGSA'S Chateaubelair Office Tuesday October 19, 2021 - Gangs 23-40
East Kingstown – BRAGSA’S Head Office in Kingstown

Payments for Jobbers and River Cleaning Gangs will be done on Wednesday.
