All flags at half-mast for Sir James

All flags will be flown at half mast from today; November 23rd to November 25th to commemorate the passing of Sir James Mitchell KCMG, PC; former Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

According to a release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all flags will also be flown at half-mast on the day of the funeral of Sir James Mitchell.

Sir James passed away on November 23, 2021, at the age of 90.

Sir James, the country’s second prime minister, served from 1984 to 2000.

The state funeral for Sir James will be announced subsequently, the foreign ministry said.
