SVG: Gasoline up again as global prices surge

Vincentians will pay more at the pump for gasoline as the price has increased to $14.72 per gallon.

On October 1, the price per gallon stood at $14.00, and by November, it was increased to $14.48.

Diesel has also risen to $12.41 per gallon. 

The new price took effect on Tuesday December 28, making this the ninth time prices have risen in one year.

Including this price hike, there were hikes in March, May, July, August, September, November and twice in October this year. 

The cost of Brent Crude Oil has been increasing over the past few months.
