New Royal Caribbean agreement could see up to 2,000 Vincentians hired

The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and Royal Caribbean Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding- MOU, on Friday, to recruit Vincentians for several job opportunities with the cruise line.

According to Tourism Minister Carlos James, the strategic partnership will see Royal Caribbean actively engaged in the recruitment of up to 2,000 Vincentians for entry level and specialty positions on Royal Caribbean vessels.

Tourism Minister, Carlos James signed the agreement on behalf of the Government of SVG and Wendy McDonald, Regional Vice President, Government Relations, Caribbean for Royal Caribbean Group.

The Government of SVG will facilitate the recruitment activities on island in the coming weeks.
