After 36 years of service Coast Guard Commander to retire

The Commander of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines – SVG Coast Guard Service, Mr. Brenton Cain will be proceeding on pre-retirement leave on July 25, 2022.

Mr. Cain served the SVG Coast Guard and the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines – SVG for 36 years.

According to a release from the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, there will be a final parade and inspection of the guard in Mr. Cain’s honour on Thursday, July 21, at the Calliaqua Hard Court commencing at 10:00. a.m.

Following the parade, there will be an official ceremony which would include remarks from Commissioner of Police – Mr. Collin John and other officials, the report said.

The SVG Coast Guard is a department of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force.
