Member of Parliament of East Kingstown and member of the opposition New Democratic Party – NDP, Mr. Dwight Fitz Bramble has issued a full statement on the recent profanity-laden nipple piercing video circulated on social media.
Mr. Bramble apologized for the indecent language in the video which he says is an old video, the publishing of which he did not sanction.
He also said he did not know he was being filmed.
With regards to the piercing, Mr. Bramble clearly established that piercings are part of our African culture and his decision to get pierced was his personal choice.
He also urged his viewers to focus on more pressing issues facing the country, which according to him, include crime, the high cost of living, and youth unemployment, among others.
A video emerged of the public figure on Saturday on social media. Since then, it has been the subject of much discussion on social media.
Some people supported Mr. Bramble’s personal choice, while others condemned him, for the contents of the video, based on his current role as an MP.
