Police conduct day and night stop and search against agricultural theft

Police officers from the South Central Division have stop and search on vehicles transporting agricultural produce into Kingstown.

The searches have been occurring both night and day.

According to a statement posted by the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force – RSVGPF the activity is in keeping with the renewed initiative between the RSVGPF and the Ministry of Agriculture to enforce the Theft of Agricultural Produce and Livestock (Praedial Larceny Act).

Theft of agricultural produce and livestock – praedial larceny remains a problem plaguing farmers across the country.
