Having won five (5) of seven (7) qualifying matches, the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines National Netball Team fell short of qualifying for the 2023 Netball World Cup scheduled for South Africa.

Out of nine (9) teams that participated in the October 16-22 Americas Netball World Cup Qualifiers, only eight (8) competed. Among those, SVG finished third with 10 points.

Team Jamaica was the ninth team, but its matches were non-qualifying since Jamaica has already qualified for the 2023 Netball World Cup due to its ranking.

Team SVG, plagued with injuries among some of its key players, had lost a crucial match to Barbados and had narrowly lost to Trinidad and Tobago earlier in the tournament.

From the Americas qualifiers, only Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados will advance to the 2023 World Cup, as only the top two teams could advance. Team Jamaica already made it to the World Cup.
