After winning both the boys and girls divisions of the Inter-secondary Schools Athletics Championships on July 8 this year, the Central Leeward Secondary has scored another major sporting win.
The school has taken the double champions title after winning the Inter-secondary Schools Netball Competition today (December 8).
According to the Education Media Unit of the Ministry of Education, Central Leeward Secondary School, also known as the Barrouallie Secondary School captured both the Junior and Senior 2022 Inter-Secondary Schools titles.
“The Juniors narrowly defeated the Georgetown Secondary School Gladiators 24-23 in a very exciting match,” the Education Media Unit said.
“The Seniors dominated the Girls’ High School 43 -25,” the Education Media Unit added.
The finals were held at the New Montrose Netball Center.
