Government to create 100 additional posts in 2023

Staff increases in the public sector will take place in 2023.

According to the Estimates of Revenue and expenditure passed in the House of Assembly on December 13, more than 100 additional posts have been allocated across several ministries. 

The highest number of staff allocations will go to the Ministry of National Security with a total of 65 posts, including 55 police constables. 

Other ministries that will benefit from additional staff include the Ministry of Education and National Reconciliation, the Ministry of Health and the Environment, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Ministry of National Mobilization, among others. 

The Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for 2023 amount to over EC 1.4 billion dollars.
