The Major Crime Unit (MCU) of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force says it has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Mekail Charles, a twenty-five (25) year-old man of Ottley Hall.
Investigations revealed that the deceased was shot about his body in Pauls Avenue on 26th December 2022.
The motive for the killing is unknown.
Charles’s death marks the forty-second (42nd) homicide recorded for 2022.
A postmortem examination is expected to be carried out on the deceased to ascertain the exact cause of death.
