The elderly at the Thompson Home at Richmond Hill, Kingstown were treated to donations of fruit baskets on Good Friday.
The donations were made by members of the Inter-School and College Christian Fellowship of the Division of Technical and Vocational Education of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Community College – SVGCC.
The president of the DTVE ISCCF Ms. Jolesiia Pope and member Rackiem Defreitas presented fruit baskets as a way of showing much love to the elderly.
Ms. Pope said that she hopes that they (elderly) felt their (ISCCF)love and that the group was happy to make them feel special on “Good” Friday.
She said it is part of the ISCCF’s mandate to have outreach/mission programs to share the love of Jesus.
The DTVE branch of the ISCCF was revised in 2022 after a prolonged period of dormancy.
