The Nine Nights of Lights celebrations at the St. Vincent Botanical Garden will conclude tonight (December 23), with a closing ceremony and concert.
The evening will include a Recognition Ceremony, followed by the Bowman and Friends Concert, marking the official close of the festival.
The event begins at 7:00 p.m.
Persons can also enjoy the Christmas lights, enjoy the wide array of foods, and indulge in games.
Some of the food options sold by the food and vendors include tacos, roasted pork and chicken with festivals, hotdogs, Madungo bakes with fried fish or chicken, ham and bread (subject to availability), soups, popcorn, slushies, cotton candy, and more.
There are also two bars available and many toy vendors where toys can be purchased on the spot for children.
There is also bouncing castle, face painting, trampoline, basketball, and other games and attractions.
General admission to the event is $5 for children and $10 for adults.
The Nine Nights of Lights, spearheaded by the National Parks, Rivers, and Beaches Authority is in its 10th year, and it continues to feature heavily on the national Christmas agenda.
