Step into the fun at the Calliaqua Playing Field this May 1 as the RC Diocese of Kingstown hosts its exciting May Day Fair, promising a full day of activities for everyone.
Running from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the event will feature a wide variety of attractions, food, and entertainment for the entire family.
Patrons are encouraged to come ready to enjoy, as there will be no need to bring food or dine before leaving home. A wide selection of cuisine will be available, including Filipino, African, Trinidadian, and Lebanese dishes, roast pork/chicken, chicken and chips, corn dogs as well as other local dishes.
The fair will also include a range of stalls and activities such as a farmer’s market, flea market, variety stalls, punch boards, and karaoke.
Families and children can enjoy a dedicated Kids Zone, complete with a tea party, bouncing castle, face painting, Disney mascots, and a photo booth.
Those with a sweet tooth will not be left out, with treats like popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream, and cakes available throughout the day.
Entertainment will be provided by a popular DJ, keeping the atmosphere lively from start to finish, with prizes also up for grabs.
Admission is affordably priced at $5 for adults and $3 for children.
The event will be held under the theme, “Faith Through Love Results in Action.”
