Bishop’s College Kingstown Triumphs at ISCCF Bible Quiz

Bishop’s College Kingstown has emerged victorious in the 2026 Inter-School and College Christian Fellowship (ISCCF) Secondary Schools’ Bible Quiz, following a strong display of biblical knowledge and teamwork.

The finals, held on Friday, April 17 at the Streams of Power Church in Sion Hill, brought together the top three schools from across the island after a competitive preliminary round. After ten challenging rounds of questions, the Bishop College team secured first place with a total of 85 points.

The winning team, comprising Natalia Kydd and Nezea Alexander, demonstrated solid scripture mastery throughout the competition, maintaining a clear lead over their rivals.

Troumaca Ontario Secondary School placed second with 45 points. The team was represented by Hope Pierre and Bernard Stephens. Emmanuel High School Mesopotamia secured third place with 20 points, represented by Taffia Gurley and Alleyah Theobalds.

Natalia Kydd was also awarded the title of Best Quizzer, having accumulated an outstanding 95 points across both the preliminary rounds and the grand finale.

The competition began with preliminary rounds on March 12, 2026, featuring 12 secondary schools divided into three zones. The top-performing teams advanced to the finals.

The ISCCF said it will continue to promote spiritual growth, fellowship and academic discipline among young people through initiatives such as the annual Bible Quiz, encouraging students to deepen their understanding of scripture while engaging in healthy competition.
