Vincentian films and television content will now be available through a new streaming platform, allowing audiences to watch local productions on demand via the internet.
Behind the development is Island Koncepts Television (IKTV), formerly a cable television provider, which is now transitioning into a digital-first streaming platform focused on expanding access to Vincentian storytelling.
With the launch of the platform, viewers will be able to stream original TV shows, films, live broadcasts, and event coverage anytime, without relying on scheduled television programming.

At the heart of this expansion is IKTV’s new entertainment initiative, “Tales From 784,” a curated collection of short films rooted in Vincentian culture, traditions, and folklore. The project aims to highlight authentic Caribbean storytelling while creating structured opportunities for local creatives.
Spearheaded by Javed DaSouza and the Alpha Studios team, the initiative goes beyond content production by actively investing in emerging talent, including filmmakers, actors, writers, and production crews within St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The upcoming soft launch will feature two original productions. “Cocoa Tea” is a family-oriented film centred on themes of grief and healing, while “TiT FOR TaT” presents a more intense, narrative-driven storyline. Both films feature local cast members and were written, directed, and edited by Javed DaSouza, with cinematography by Duane Lewis.
The official launch of “Tales From 784” is scheduled for October, aligning with St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ Independence celebrations. The rollout will also include a nationwide tour, bringing screenings and engagement sessions directly into communities and schools across the country.

According to IKTV, the initiative represents more than a platform upgrade.
“This is more than just a digital upgrade or a film project. It’s a movement. It’s about telling our stories, empowering our people, and redefining how Caribbean content is created, shared, and experienced,” IKTV stated.
The new streaming service is expected to continue expanding its content library in the coming months, with additional local productions, live programming, and community-driven projects planned.
